Bold Security are now recruiting for Security Officers for an exciting vacancy in the Swindon area (SN3).
Duties involved (not an exhaustive list):
- Work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, consisting of 12-hour shifts.
- Hold a valid CCTV SIA Licence and at least one additional SIA licence (e.g. Door Supervisor or Security Guard).
- Demonstrate the ability to think quickly and make accurate decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Remain calm, professional, and composed when handling high-pressure situations.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with clear and professional communication at all times.
- Have strong computer skills, with the ability to confidently use multiple software applications and systems simultaneously.
- Be able to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, following company procedures and client instructions.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid SIA Licence and CCTV License.
- Initially BPSS eligible, with the view to go to full SC Clearance. This includes right to work check, identity check, criminal record and employment record checks.
- Strong communication skills
- Smart appearance - black safety shoes, black trousers, blazer, security Hi-Viz.
For meaningful checks to be carried out, individuals need to have lived in the UK for a sufficient period to enable appropriate checks to be carried out and produce a result which provides the required level of assurance. Security clearance is desirable for the role however this can be applied for upon successful interview procedure. You need to have been a resident in the United Kingdom for the 5 years for SC clearance. People working with government assets must complete basic personnel security standard checks.
