About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Account Manager to join our Teacher CPD Academy team. You will be the first point of contact for schools, colleges, and educators using the platform, ensuring they receive exceptional support and service at every stage of their journey with us.
Your role will involve handling all customer communication, supporting onboarding and renewals, organising client events, sending newsletters and providing general administrative support. This is a key customer-facing role that will help maintain and grow the strong relationships we have with our partner schools and institutions.
You will work closely with The Academy team, Marketing and Content teams to ensure the Teacher CPD Academy delivers an outstanding experience for every user.

Job Role Responsibilities
Customer Communication and Support:
- Act as the main point of contact for all school, college and educator enquiries.
- Respond promptly and professionally to questions and support requests via email and phone.
- Manage user accounts, support onboarding of new customers and assist with any troubleshooting.
- Keep detailed records of interactions, feedback, and customer requests on CRM. Record and track client data using excel.
- Provide online demos and presentations to customers to help them use the platform.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive, long-term relationships with schools and colleges providing constant value throughout the entire duration of their subscription.
- Handle annual subscription renewals, supporting a smooth and professional process.
- Understand your clients teaching and learning objectives and deliver relative resources based on your knowledge of the content.
- Collaborate and share your ideas with the team to spot opportunities to improve, grow and support your clients.
- Communicate clearly and effectively. Your role acts as a bridge between our client and the rest of the company.
· Keep clients happy, engaged and wanting more from The Teacher CPD Academy.
Content and Events Management:
- Draft, edit and deliver client newsletters and communication.
- Help plan and support online customer events, webinars and professional learning sessions.
- Work with the marketing team to create and deliver client-facing content.
Platform Administration:
- Monitor user engagement and provide feedback to the wider team to support ongoing improvement.
- Perform setup and maintenance of customer accounts on the platform.
- Deliver user engagement reports on a schedule and provide frequent updates on course performance.
General Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the Teacher CPD Academy users.
- Promptly respond to emails, requests and queries.
About you:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident, approachable, and professional when dealing with customers.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, email marketing tools, excel and basic website management.
- A strong interest in education and/or psychology is a bonus.
- Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude.
