The role
We’re looking for a motivated Debt Collection Agency Manager to join our growing Collections and Recovery team. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in managing our pre-litigation activity and partnering closely with our Debt Collection Agencies to reduce late-stage debt and drive stronger recovery outcomes.
What you’ll be doing

Owning our late-stage debt recovery processes end to end

Collaborating with and constructively challenging our Debt Collection Partners to ensure value for money

Putting the right metrics and reporting in place to measure and manage partner performance

Managing your workload effectively and delivering to tight deadlines

Embedding and maintaining a caseload monitoring process so recovery activity is carried out effectively

Project managing and progressing higher value and more complex arrears and recovery cases
What we’re looking for
-
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit control,collectionsor debt recovery — ideally within the water or energy sectors

Strong communications kills and business acumen, with a proven ability to build lasting relationships with external partners

A confident decision-maker with the resilience and integrity to handle challenges head-on
-
Experience in data analytics and stakeholder reporting

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently

Confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
