Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will operate excavators safely and efficiently, contributing to various earth-moving projects. Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and accurately in accordance with project specifications and safety protocols
- Assist with site preparation, loading, and unloading materials as required
- Conduct routine inspections of the excavator, ensuring it is well-maintained and reporting any faults or issues
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment
- Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with other construction duties as directed by supervisors, including basic mechanical tasks when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or similar environment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to excavator maintenance
- Valid cpcs/npors with relevant endorsements for operating heavy machinery
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
