Pay Grade: KGA04-4 – FTE £25,930 per annum (£13.44 per hour).
Actual Starting Salary: £20,311 per annum inclusive of London Weighting and Holiday Entitlement.
Hours: 34.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm (including a half hour unpaid break, 3.30pm finish on a Friday). Term time only.
Your break is to be taken at a time within the day to fit in with practical lessons and cleaning schedules (this may not necessarily be at the same time as the school lunch period)
We are seeking a dynamic, reliable, and highly effective Technician to support the delivery of Design Technology and Art across Years 7 to 13. In this role, you will play a key part in inspiring and motivating our students, which includes stepping into lessons to demonstrate practical equipment and enhance hands-on learning. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead our Design Technology Club up to two days a week (3:15 pm – 4:00 pm).
This position involves working within a busy and friendly environment, providing support to the Design Technology and Art Department, Teaching staff and our students. The department is well-resourced and each member of staff has their own teaching room and desktop PC. The department has its own Staff Room within the suite of the Art classrooms.
