Content and Admin Assistant – Part-Time, Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Near Alcester
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, dates/hours negotiable, core hours between 10am and 2pm)
Salary: Competitive rate of pay depending on experience
Contract: Part-time, temporary role (6-month fixed-term contract). Immediate start available.
Working arrangement: Office-based only - no flexibility for remote working, however, flexible hours considered (full driving licence and car required)
We are looking for a reliable, organised, and adaptable person to join our small team, with a particular focus on supporting social media and digital content across the business.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who takes initiative and is happy to help wherever needed. The position will primarily involve social media support, basic graphic design, website updates, and content-related projects, alongside practical administrative and general office tasks.
Domoney Ltd is a horticultural media company working across television, newspapers, magazines, websites, social media, and digital content. We are also involved in events, campaigns, commercial partnerships, and other projects within the gardening and lifestyle industries.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Helping to prepare social media content.
- Monitoring social media comments and messages.
- Creating and adapting simple graphics and promotional materials.
- Updating and formatting website content.
- Carrying out online research and gathering information.
- Supporting the team with events, meetings, mailings, and other projects.
- Assisting with office organisation, post, and supplies.
- Providing general administrative support, including emails, documents, filing, and data entry.
- Taking on a variety of smaller tasks as required.
We are looking for someone who is/has:
- Organised, dependable, and able to manage their time effectively, including working to deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with English expertise in grammar, writing, and editing POS, copy for print, online, etc.
- Creative, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work to a brief provided by the senior content team.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
- Flexible and willing to take on a varied workload.
- Proactive and willing to learn new skills.
- UK-based.
Essential Skills
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including:
A good working knowledge of Outlook.
Desirable Skills
Familiarity with the following is desirable, but not essential:
- Major social media platforms
- WordPress
- Canva
- An interest in gardening
Training can be provided where required.
