As the oldest pub in Twickenham we are looking for experienced bar team to join our fun and personable business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a lively hospitality environment, contributing to memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate billing
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of each shift
- Engage with customers to create a lively and welcoming environment, promoting special offers or events when appropriate
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Knowledge of various drinks, cocktails, and bar equipment is essential
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in handling orders and cash transactions
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
