Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team, on a part time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering medicines to customers in a timely and courteous manner. This role requires use of your own vehicle (mileage will be paid), excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring patients receive their medications promptly.
Duties
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any issues encountered during routes.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and promptly after each shift.
Requirements
- Use of your own vehicle.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to schedules strictly.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing during shifts.
- A responsible attitude towards safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction is essential.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
