We're recruiting a Team Leader - Works Delivery (Track) to join our team at Wimbledon Stables , where you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient and standards¿compliant track maintenance and renewal activities across the network.

- Plan, coordinate and oversee daily track activities to ensure safe and efficient work delivery.
- Build teamwork, ownership and a positive working culture across your crew.
- Establish and maintain robust safety arrangements for staff and contractors.
- Ensure all track work is delivered in line with safe systems of work, procedures and method statements.
- Supervise and check the quality of track activities, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Monitor staff competencies and make sure the correct tools, equipment and vehicles are available.
- Capture accurate records of completed work in relevant systems.
- Support resource planning and ensure clear communication between teams and management.
- Support skills growth through coaching, mentoring and on¿the¿job learning.
- Encourage continuous improvement and embed a strong safety culture.
- Follow company policies, procedures and industry regulations to ensure compliant delivery.
- Proven experience leading teams and organising safe, efficient engineering or track work.
- Background in track inspection, maintenance, faulting or renewals.
- Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work and railway safety procedures.
- Familiarity with track standards, components and infrastructure.
- Motivational leadership and team¿building ability.
- Clear, confident communicator - both written and verbal.
- Ability to coach, influence and bring out the best in others.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) preferred, or relevant track experience.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
