Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker
Location: Wigan
Shifts/working hours: Days – 8am until 8pm
Pay rates: from £14.86 - £17.10 per hour (including holiday pay)
** Full uk manual driving licence required**

Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.
As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.
About the role
In this role, you will be supporting our male client within his own home, who is living with locked in syndrome. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients' clinical interventions which include tracheostomy, gastrostomy and nebulisers (all training will be provided).
Our client enjoys being out in the community and is a season ticket holder for Manchester United. We are looking for team members who will be happy supporting our client in the community and attending Manchester United football matches.
Role Requirements
- 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)
- Have experience with personal care, medication and manual handling
- Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
- Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training
- Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism
