Aon Insurance Managers (Guernsey) Ltd. (AIMG) is seeking an experienced compliance analyst to join the Risk and Compliance team. The Risk and Compliance department at AIMG provides risk and compliance services to Aon group and client entities to ensure they remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually in Guernsey and from our office in St Peters Port, Guernsey.

Risk and Compliance: Supporting the Risk and Compliance function in Guernsey:

Manage and maintain compliance databases, portal access, filings, and registers - client entity database, group risk management, screening

Managing documents and declarations by ensuring that they are up to date.

Approving/actioning pending counterparties (eg payments), managing and monitoring of user rights, running scans, checks and maintaining operational procedures and forms for certain internal systems.

Recording and reporting on GFSC communications and portals when required.

Managing the Risk and Compliance Inbox ("the Inbox") for new enquiries, reviewing and forwarding to the relevant individual to ensure the inbox is kept up to date.

Assisting in the management and production of policies, procedures, and controls.

Help carry out compliance monitoring and any necessary reporting.

Assisting in the Management of the client risk assessments by ensuring that risk reviews are conducted in accordance with procedures, recording reviews on the Client Entity Database, and ensuring updated records are kept. Review CDD packs and risk assessments.

Stakeholder query management

Provide second-line input on relationship risk assessments.

Act in place of Risk and Compliance Officer when needed. Be able to act as Nominated Officer.

Act as secretary to the Risk and Compliance Committee (the 'Committee').

Training Delivery: Help identify and deliver relevant training. Manage and maintain the training plan and register.

Help with team administration.

Maintaining confidentiality on certain sensitive matters as required.

Be the Guernsey Financial Services Commission ("GFSC") portal access co-ordinator.

Relevant qualifications include compliance certifications and financial services-related qualifications.

Three years’ experience within a regulated financial services business, preferably within a risk and compliance function.

Good foundational understanding of risk and compliance related matters generally, and of Guernsey's financial crime regime specifically (e.g. a working knowledge of the GFSC Handbook) would be beneficial but not essential.

Knowledge of the Guernsey financial services industry, regulatory regime, financial crime regime, and insurance industry.

Skills include organizational, communication, interpersonal, IT proficiency (Microsoft Office), and willing to learn.
