Colour Sound Experiment Ltd provides lighting and video rental, design and installation for special events, launches, festivals, tours and conferences.
The role of Video Project Manager is to see a project through from initial conception through to design & specification and then onto final delivery. The role requires a strong working knowledge of Video Systems including but not limited to; Signal Processing, LED, Projection, Camera Systems & PPU’s, Playback Solutions and Video Switching & Control. In addition the role requires clear and regular communication within the company and also with external suppliers and clients.

Key Activities and responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships, working with them to plan, develop and execute projects, assuming overall responsibility for completion on time and within budget
- Maintain customer contact throughout project duration, ensuring that the project reaches client expectations throught the entire lifecycle.
- Enter and maintain orders into Rental Management Software (Current RMS) and communicate equipment requirements to Colour Sound Experiment Operations teams.
- Develop relationships with technical staff across all departments and work with Crew Booking Manager to ensure every gig is appropriately staffed
- Monitor and co-ordinate logistics to ensure equipment and staff and equipment are on site when required.
- Work collaboratively with external suppliers to find cost effective solutions for purchases and sub-hires when required.
- In Depth knowledge of Video Systems used within the Live Events & Entertainment Industry.
- Strong understanding of video signal flow and system design.
- Produce detailed schematics per job for both power and signal
- Report back at the end of each project any shortfalls in working practices and possible improvements
- Assist and oversee the technical preparation of equipment for events when required, ensuring it meets the companies expected standards.
- Act as representative for the company and manage video department when onsite
- Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards with Supporting H&S Documentation.
