Dairy Assistant
Location: Snugburys Ice Cream, Nantwich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm ( Summer 8am-5pm & Winter 9am-4pm)
Pay:
- Age 21+: £12.71 per hour
- Age 18–20: £10.85 per hour
- Under 18: £8.00 per hour
Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dairy Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on, fast pace role involving food preparation, stock handling, freezer work, and supporting the day-to-day running of the dairy and kitchen areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Making and preparing ice cream products
- Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation tasks
- Packing and prepping products for distribution
- Making and preparing ice cream products
- Working in cold/freezer environments
- Moving and organising stock deliveries
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the team with general daily operations
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with manual handling and freezer work
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is helpful but not essential
