Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery driver to join our team. As our delivery driver, you will be responsible for performing various duties such as heavy lifting bathroom products, boilers, lead and all plumbing related items delivering throughout cumbria, assisting with warehouse operations when not delivering. Duties:
- Load and unload your van and keep it clean and tidy.
- Move products to designated areas in the warehouse using equipment such as hand trucks or stacking boxes
- Perform inventory checks and ensure accuracy of stock
- Prepare orders for delivery by picking and packing items and checking correct items are being delivered.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Valid <PERSON> driver's license is required must be 25 or over for insurance.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
