Hartland Surgery: Practice Nurse
We are a busy GP surgery looking to recruit a friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Nursing team.
At Hartland Surgery we support each other to offer high quality primary care to our community. We especially enjoy supporting our patients to improve their health by making effective lifestyle changes. Working in a small rural practice enables us to get to know the individuals and families we look after and to feel supported by our community.
This is a new role covering all aspects of practice nurse work including immunisations, contraception, cervical smears, minor injuries and chronic disease clinics. Training and support are available to develop or refresh these skills. You will be supported by our nurse practitioner, and will work closely with a skilled and experienced healthcare assistance and 2 GPs.
Essential Characteristics
· Registered General Nurse with current NMC Registration

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: The position is Part time for 21 hours per week. The hours will be 9am-6pm Monday & Thursday and 2pm-6pm on Wednesday however some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the Practice including some evening and weekend working from time to time and also to cover annual leave and sickness.
