The Role
Please note, this role involves full-time working from the office location in Uxbridge. No working from home is offered.
As a Trainee Commercial Property Agency Surveyor, you will work alongside experienced commercial agents, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of commercial agency. This role is ideal for an energetic and driven individual with excellent people skills and a genuine desire to succeed.
Whilst previous commercial property experience is advantageous, we will also consider candidates with a proven sales background who are looking to transition into the commercial property sector.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous commercial agency experience is preferred, although candidates with a strong sales background will also be considered.
- Residential estate agency experience would be advantageous.
- Highly motivated, ambitious and target-driven.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner.
- Professional appearance with strong presentation skills.
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work independently when required.
- Numerate and computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Full, clean UK driving licence essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Business development and generating new instructions.
- Conducting property inspections and accompanied viewings.
- Negotiating sales and lettings.
- Meeting with landlords, occupiers, investors and developers.
- Preparing marketing material and managing online property listings.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Attending networking events, industry functions and client meetings.
- Assisting with acquisitions, disposals and general agency instructions.
- Providing a professional and proactive service to clients throughout transactions.
