Overview
Join our family run production team, manufacturing a range of sports nutrition supplements. As our Food Production Operative Blender, you will be our primary ingredients mixer, weighing the necessary ingredients for the product blends, recording mixes on paperwork and pouring ingredients into the mixer for the production team to pack in the room below. During slower periods, you will work with the team to help clean the production areas and get involved in warehouse duties.

Duties
- Lifting bags and boxes of ingredients up to 25kg (lifting necessary)
- Operate various machinery and equipment used in food production processes with precision and care.
- Follow food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures, to maintain product integrity.
- Assist in preparing formulas with dry ambient ingredients and assembling products according to specified formulas and quality standards.
- Conduct routine quality checks, ensuring products meet safety and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to hygiene regulations at all times.
- Monitor mechanical equipment for proper functioning; report any malfunctions promptly for maintenance.
- Perform basic math calculations for portioning, weighing, and inventory management tasks.
- Use of forklift to gather and organise pallets (license preferable but not necessary)
- Warehouse packing
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with machinery used in food processing is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently within a team environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, portion control, and inventory tracking are required.
- Forklift license preferable
- Driving license preferable

Monday to Thursday: 8am-5pm
Friday: 8am-3pm
Pay: £14.00 per hour
