We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our sales function in an office-based role. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Sales Director and wider sales team, with a strong emphasis on customer quoting, supplier engagement, and sourcing the most competitive pricing. You will ensure sales processes, data, reporting, and administration are managed accurately and efficiently while helping the sales team deliver timely, commercially sound proposals to customers.
The ideal candidate will be methodical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware, comfortable working with data, systems, suppliers, and multiple stakeholders. You will provide a first-class internal service to the sales team, helping to maintain momentum across the sales pipeline while ensuring information is accurate, timely, and well-governed.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Work closely with the Sales Director to support day-to-day sales operations, quoting activity, and reporting
- Act as a central point of contact for customer quotations, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and timely turnaround
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source products and services, negotiate pricing, and secure the best commercial terms
- Maintain pricing structures, cost data, and margin information to support profitable quoting
- Provide administrative and operational support to the wider sales team
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer, quotation, order, and pipeline data
- Track customer orders, manage back orders, and liaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues
- Produce regular and ad-hoc sales reports, including pipeline, performance, margin, and trend analysis
- Analyse customer spend and buying trends to support sales planning and forecasting
- Analyse supplier spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist with data qualification and cleansing
- Ensure all internal sales and pricing data is proactively managed and kept up to date
- Support sales pipeline reviews and provide commercial updates for management meetings
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with contracts, pricing agreements, and other sales documentation as required
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Previous experience in a sales support, sales administration, or commercial office-based role
- Proven experience producing customer quotations and working with suppliers or vendors on pricing
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); CRM experience desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- High level of accuracy with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to analyse pricing and sales data and present clear, meaningful insights
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Quick learner with a positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
Working Arrangement
This is a fully office-based role, requiring regular attendance at the company office to support close collaboration with the sales team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
