SEN Teacher (QTS)

We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Qualified Teachers (QTS) to work within a range of specialist SEN schools and alternative provisions across the Sutton area.
These roles offer the opportunity to support children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), Complex Needs and associated communication needs. Opportunities are available across Primary, Secondary and Post-16 settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Support pupils to achieve their academic, social and emotional goals.
- Monitor progress and contribute to assessments, reports and EHCP reviews where required.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents and other professionals.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence and pupil wellbeing.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within either mainstream or specialist education.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for all learners.
