Position Overview
Cabot are seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to join the team in maintenance operations across our hospitality and golf facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all guest areas, accommodation, and golf sites are safe, well-maintained, and presented to the highest standard. You will join a small team, respond to urgent maintenance needs, and work collaboratively with operations, housekeeping, and guest services teams. This role requires full UK work rights visa and is not a sponsored role. The salary will be discussed and depend on experience. We do not provide staff accommodation and the successful applicant will need to commute to the property as we are not on a public transport route.
Core Responsibilities
· Assist in coordinating daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of tasks
· Collaborate to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and repair plans
· Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues
· Perform or oversee general maintenance work, including basic plumbing, electrical, decorating, appliance repairs and grounds maintenance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with site systems, boilers, appliances, and other mechanical systems
· Prioritize and respond quickly to urgent repair requests and emergency maintenance situations
· Maintain accurate maintenance records and update logs for equipment and repairs
· Manage maintenance inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper use of tools and equipment
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
· PAT testing as necessary – training will be provided
Working Hours
· Days and hours will flex throughout winter and summer with weekend cover on a rota.
· Work patterns will be organised according to a rota which could be on any day from Monday-Sunday.
Pay: £27,976.00-£34,000.00 per year
