Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to manage the front of house operations at Reinventing The Wheel. Over 20 years we have built an enviable reputation as the leading alloy wheel repair centre for Gloucestershire and Worcestershire and you will play a pivotal role in sustaining that reputation. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers as well as liaising with the team of repair technicians to ensure a seamless experience.
Your duties will include:
- Greeting customers and building positive relationships with them throughout their journey.
- Conducting inspections, offering advice, quotations and timelines for wheel repair to in-person, online and telephone enquiries.
- Scheduling bookings, appointments, vehicle drop-offs and pick ups with customers.
- Keeping customers updated on the status of their wheels through the workshop and liaising with your repair technician colleagues to ensure the wheels/cars will be ready for the customer on time.
- Liaising with the head of the repair team to ensure workflow is optimised through the workshop.
- Collecting customer data accurately, invoicing, taking payment and maintaining records of all financial transactions.
About you:
- You'll be an active listener and excellent communicator.
- You'll get job satisfaction from providing an outstanding service to our customers..
- You'll have strong organisational skills, be comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ideally you'll have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable manoeuvring vehicles in tight spaces.
- Workshop skill set desired eg experience with lifting vehicles, removing and refitting tyres and wheels as we are a small team and sometimes you'll need to provide additional support to your colleagues.
Salary, hours and benefits:
- Monday to Friday 08:30- 17:30 NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAYS
- Up to £40,000pa for the right person.
- 28 days holiday per year Including all bank holidays.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
