Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide person-centred care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. You will work closely with service users to meet their daily needs while promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication support, and household tasks.
- Encourage independence, social engagement, and participation in community activities.
- Follow individual care plans, maintain accurate records, and report any concerns to the relevant team members.
- Provide emotional support and build positive, professional relationships with service users and their families.
Requirements
- Health and social care qualification or equivalent
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach to supporting others.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, or shifts where required.
- Previous care or support experience is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided.
