Job summary
We are excited to announce an opening for a part time (25 hours per week) Specialist MSK Clinician within the Gosport locality. This role is aligned to the four pillars of advanced clinical practice and will support staff to evidence their development across each pillar whilst providing clinical support and education to the wider clinical team.
The post holder will maintain a rehabilitation caseload in their current locality whilst providing clinical support and education to the wider clinical team. Alongside this, they will work under supervision within Orthopaedic Choice or Pain services to achieve their competencies within a clinical specialist capacity. This will be on a rotational basis.
There will be a requirement to travel to different sites within the role. We will be very happy to discuss flexible working options with successful candidates.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
1.To provide skilled team leadership at designated locality in the planning, co-ordinating, delivery and the evaluation of the MSK Outpatient service to GP's and Consultants.
2.To provide clinical leadership and development of allocated professional staff members and students.
3.To take a major role in the advanced assessment and management of patients, within this speciality who may have a complex presentation and/or multi pathology presentation, determining best delivery of care in conjunction with the MDT.
4.To act as an experienced and skilled MSK resource for the service and multi-disciplinary team in the specialism of neuro-musculoskeletal out- patients
5.To ensure appropriate management of own patients and the wider teams caseload with onward referral to Tier 2 triage services when required.
6.Ensure a high standard of education/training is delivered, and facilitate reflective practice, clinical reasoning, audit and research projects within the department to ensure ongoing clinical effectiveness.
7.Work with the service manager to manage, monitor and report on local activity levels.
