Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting new opportunity within the public sector? West Berkshire Council is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Adult Social Care Service as an Occupational Therapist - Single Handed Care Service.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist - Single Handed Care Service, you will be part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care and support to individuals within the West Berkshire community. Reporting to the Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

Delivering exceptional occupational therapy assessments and interventions to meet the needs of service users
- Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery
- Supporting the Single Point of Access Team to ensure appropriate referrals are made to the OT Service
- Conducting assessments for the provision of aids and adaptations to promote independence
- Providing advice and guidance to individuals and their families to enable them to achieve their goals
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working within a similar role, ideally in a local authority or public sector environment
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards governing occupational therapy practice
