Overview
We are seeking a dedicated a Betting Shop Manager or Trainee Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. within our West Watford branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining compliance with gaming regulations, and driving sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for sports betting and customer service. The position is paid and suitable for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and are based within a 15 mile radius with the ability and means to travel .
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the betting shop team to deliver outstanding guest services
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant gaming regulations and company policies
- Oversee cash handling, betting transactions, and reconciliation processes
- Provide training and support to staff members to optimise performance
- Monitor sales targets and develop strategies to increase revenue
- Handle guest enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within the shop
- Assist in stock management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience in retail or hospitality settings
- Previous experience within the Industry would be helpful but not essential as fast track training is available for the right applicant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and financial reconciliation
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of betting products or experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
