Restoration Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Work as part of a team on disaster restoration projects, including cleaning and restoration of domestic and commercial items whether contents or buildings, as per technical user guides & manuals used by Rainbow Restoration either onsite or at workshop
- Maintain the highest level of Health & Safety at all times, keeping up regular awareness training
- To assist in drying and restoration of domestic and commercial items whether contents or buildings, as per technical user guides or manuals used by Rainbow Restoration either onsite or at workshop
- Undertake on site procedures on surveying job, either estimating or completing in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Use Rainbow IT System to records all activities and tasks and/or other IT based scoping systems.
- To be placed on call to ensure the needs of the business are met. In the eventuality of the requirement to be on call, the hours required will be as per a rota system.
- To undertake regular training courses, both formal or on the job training
- Uniform, PPE etc fully provided
Knowledge:
- Educated to GCSE level English and Maths (or equivalent) C grade or above
- Experience of cleaning, fire & flood restoration or site work preferable but not essential as full training will be given
- BDMA Accreditation preferable
- Experience or interest in building or construction would be preferable

Hours
- Monday to Friday - 8.30 am - 5 pm 40 hours per week
- Overtime available
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
