We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our vehicles, providing high-quality service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and time taken.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient workflow within the workshop.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are advantageous but not essential.
