Job Summary
A hardworking and reliable Labourer responsible for supporting construction, maintenance, and site operations. Duties include assisting tradespeople, moving materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and carrying out general manual tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment.
✅ Assisting skilled tradespeople with daily tasks.
✅ Preparing and clearing work areas.
✅ Digging, lifting, carrying, and transporting materials safely.
✅ Operating basic hand and power tools when authorised and trained.
✅ Maintaining site cleanliness and disposing of waste appropriately.
✅ Following health and safety procedures at all times.
✅ Reporting hazards, accidents, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
✅ Performing other general labouring duties as directed.
Skills and Requirements
✅ Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
✅ Strong work ethic and reliability.
✅ Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
✅ Awareness of health and safety practices.
✅ Punctual and dependable.
✅ Previous construction or labouring experience is essential.
Qualifications
✅ CSCS Card required for many construction sites.
✅ Steel toe cap boots required; all other PPE will be provided.
Pay: £12.71-£18.00 per hour
