We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football & Sports Coach to join our sports programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Provide constructive feedback to players to support their development
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players
- Monitor player progress and maintain accurate records of training activities and achievements
- Collaborate with parents, school staff, or organisation officials regarding player development and behaviour
- Stay informed about current coaching techniques and football regulations to ensure best practices are followed
Requirements
- Passion for sports coaching, particularly football, with a strong understanding of game tactics and techniques
- Teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players of varying ages and abilities
- Strong organisational skills to plan effective training sessions and manage team logistics
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with players, parents, and colleagues
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are essential; willingness to undertake necessary training is expected
- A passion for sport, teamwork, and youth development is essential
- Must be organised, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
