Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while working in a friendly and dynamic setting. We have seasonal job roles available for returning university students Previous bar experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All roles are paid positions.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and providing attentive service throughout their visit
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serving beverages and meals in accordance with food safety standards
- Handling cash and processing payments with basic maths skills
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
- Assisting with setting up tables and clearing after service
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Providing friendly assistance to guests, including answering questions about menu items
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing shifts and guest needs
