Are you a nurturing, confident and inspiring early years professional looking for your next step? Lilliput Day Nursery York Ltd is excited to open a brand new Baby Room, and we are seeking a Baby Room Leader to shape, lead and champion this beautiful new space for our youngest children.

⭐ The Role
As Baby Room Leader, you will take the lead in creating a calm, loving and stimulating environment for babies aged 3–16 months. You will be responsible for:
- Leading daily practice and ensuring exceptional care routines
- Creating a nurturing, cosy and responsive environment
- Supporting babies’ early development through high‑quality interactions
- Building strong relationships with families
- Overseeing planning, observations and room organisation
- Guiding and supporting staff within the baby room
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and EYFS requirements are met

⭐ About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Level 3 qualified in childcare (essential)
- Warm, caring and confident with babies
- Experienced in early years practice, ideally with under‑twos
- A strong communicator who values teamwork
- Organised, proactive and committed to high standards
- Passionate about creating a safe, loving and enriching environment
