We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Functions Coordinator to join our team and help deliver exceptional weddings, private functions and to help in our restaurant .

The Role
As a Functions Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing events from the initial enquiry through to the day itself, ensuring every celebration runs smoothly and every client receives an outstanding experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Liaising closely with the operations and management teams to ensure events are delivered to a high standard.
Managing event timelines and ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the relevant teams.
Being the main point of contact for clients during their event.
Overseeing weddings and functions on the day, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Handling any last-minute changes or issues calmly and professionally.
Supporting the promotion and development of the venue's wedding and functions business.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident, friendly and professional when dealing with clients.
A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Comfortable managing multiple events and deadlines at the same time.
Calm under pressure and able to solve problems quickly.
Confident working independently while also being an effective team player.
Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Passionate about weddings, hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
Previous experience in wedding coordination, events, hospitality or a similar role would be an advantage, but we are also interested in hearing from candidates with strong transferable experience and the right attitude.
What We Offer;
Salary £30000 per year
45 hours per week over a 5 day period - Shifts change from week to week
28 days holiday a year including Bank Holidays
