Outbox Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers on behalf of a leading Amazon Freight Partner based in Widnes (WA8).
This is a permanent PAYE opportunity offering £20–£22 per hour, clean depot-to-depot trunking, modern vehicles and regular overnight tramping.
Whether you’re an experienced Class 1 driver or newly qualified, this is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent, long-term work with a professional transport operation.

Working Pattern
- Sunday to Thursday
- 5-day tramping operation
- Regular overnight stays in the vehicle
- Day and night start times available
- Consistent workload throughout the year
Please note: This is a tramping position and requires regular nights away sleeping in the vehicle.
The Role
- UK-wide depot-to-depot trunking
- Drop & swap work
- Regular overnight tramping
- Daily vehicle checks
- Tachograph and Working Time Directive compliance
- Safe and professional driving
- Professional communication with transport teams
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Right to work in the UK
- Comfortable with regular nights away
- Professional and reliable attitude
