Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter to join our small team. You will work on mainly residential properties, replacing and installing a variety of high-quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of windows, doors and porches, in a variety of settings, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The role includes conservatory installations, replacement conservatory roofs, fascias, soffits & guttering, maintenance and repair work. You will represent our company on-site, ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Duties
- Measure and prepare window openings to ensure proper fit and finish
- Install new windows, including securing frames and ensuring airtight seals
- Remove old or damaged windows safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant building regulations and safety standards
- Assist with related tasks such as minor repairs or adjustments to surrounding structures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the project
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications
- Provide excellent customer service and leave all work sites clean and tidy
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous window fitting experience
Ability to work confidently at heights on ladders or scaffolding
Excellent attention to detail and accurate measuring skills
Takes pride in their workmanship
Is reliable, hardworking and professional
Can work well independently and as part of a team
Has a full UK driving licence (Preferred)
MTC/FENSA/NVQ qualifications (preferred but not essential
Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
