Tangerine is one of Manchester's leading hospitality destinations, known for exceptional food, outstanding service and memorable guest experiences. At the heart of the venue is our Wine Loft, home to a carefully curated collection of wines from around the world.
We're looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and commercially minded Sommelier to take ownership of the Wine Loft, helping guests discover incredible wines while driving sales and creating an outstanding wine experience.
The Role
This is more than a traditional sommelier role.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Wine Loft, acting as its ambassador and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. You'll confidently guide guests through our wine collection, recommend pairings, host tastings and help make wine approachable, exciting and memorable.
Alongside delivering excellent service, you'll take ownership of the wine programme, working closely with management to develop the collection, maintain stock, train the team and grow wine sales.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about wine but equally passionate about hospitality. Someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, building relationships with guests and helping establish the Wine Loft as a destination for wine lovers in Manchester.
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
