Serenity School Old Palace Croydon is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our dedicated and supportive team.

As Site Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our school remains safe, secure, well-maintained, and welcoming for the entire school community.
This is a varied and hands-on role that combines site management, maintenance, health and safety responsibilities, contractor management, and operational support. The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving the school’s staff and pupil shuttle service, helping to ensure safe and reliable transport throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the security, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of the school site, including key holder responsibilities
- Undertaking routine maintenance, repairs, health and safety checks, and ensuring the school environment remains safe and compliant
- Driving the school’s staff and pupil shuttle service and supporting other transport requirements as needed
- Supervising contractors, monitoring site works, and reporting maintenance issues or improvement needs
- Maintaining external areas, managing supplies and resources, and supporting school events through porterage and site preparation
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in site management, facilities, maintenance, caretaking, or a similar role
- Possesses strong practical maintenance and handyman skills with the ability to work independently
- Has excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Is committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, cleanliness, and security
- Holds a full UK driving licence and is confident driving a minibus or shuttle vehicle (or willing to undertake any required training)

Pay: £30,095.00-£33,895.00 per year
