Pay Rates:
- Ages 16-17: £8.91 per hour
- Ages 18-20: £10.85 per hour
- Ages 21+: £12.71 per hour

We're looking for outstanding, customer-focused Car Park Assistants to join our team for the Heritage Live Festivals series at the stunning Englefield Estate. This role is about far more than directing cars — you'll be one of the very first faces guests see when they arrive, and a great welcome sets the tone for their entire evening. If you thrive on making people feel looked after, this is the role for you.
Your Role
As a Car Park Assistant, you'll combine safe, efficient traffic management with genuinely excellent customer service, including:
- Warmly welcoming guests to site and guiding vehicles safely and efficiently into and out of car parks
- Directing traffic flow within parking areas to maximise space and minimise congestion
- Checking vehicles on entry to the site
- Patiently assisting concert-goers with parking queries, directions, and any concerns — often under time pressure
- Going the extra mile for families, elderly guests, and anyone needing extra support
- Staying calm, polite, and helpful even when the car park is busy and queues are building
- Supporting a safe, orderly get-in and get-out across each event day
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service skills are essential — this is a people-first role, not just a traffic role
- A genuinely friendly, warm, and approachable manner
- Patience and a calm head when dealing with queues, delays, or frustrated guests
- Confidence communicating clearly and politely with the public
- Reliability and flexibility to work across multiple event days
- Ability to stay alert, proactive, and composed in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
