The Programme Manager for the Covid-19 Vaccination Programme holds operational accountability for the day-to-day management of the System Vaccine Operations Centre (SVOC) team, helpline, and delegated programme budgets. The post holder is responsible for
the end-to-end delivery of the Covid Vaccination Programme across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and will deputise for the SRO and Deputy Clinical SRO as required.
The main functions of the Programme Manager are to:
Establish and monitor commissioning contracts, author business cases (including financial and workforce mapping), and oversee robust project planning for seasonal, pause/close-down, and surge vaccination campaigns in line with national strategies.
Oversee the analysis of programme data and prepare high-level executive briefings and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise across the Integrated Care System (including primary care, local authorities, and NHS England) to coordinate outreach strategies that address vaccine hesitancy and drive uptake in underserved communities.
Partner with senior leadership to design and execute a safe, effective transition of the vaccination program into a permanent Business as Usual (BAU) model.
This role is based on-site at the ICB with options for flexible and remote working. Travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight will be required to maintain strong relationships with service providers and partner organizations.
