Your Role
As the Nurse in Charge on nights, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and overseeing high-quality nursing care
- Administering medications safely and effectively
- Monitoring blood glucose levels and other clinical observations
- Managing and assessing wounds
- Developing and reviewing care plans
- Supporting and supervising care staff
- Liaising with GPs, families and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Promoting resident wellbeing, dignity and independence
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a valid NMC registration
- Has experience within a nursing home setting
- Has knowledge of elderly care, dementia care and end-of-life care
- Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills
- Is caring, compassionate and professional
- Can work independently and confidently during night shifts
- Is organised, reliable and committed to delivering outstanding care
Shift Details
Night Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:30am (including handover)
Contract: Full-Time – 36 hours per week
