About the Role
GV Radios UK is looking for a forward-thinking Head of Broadcasting Technology to lead the technology strategy supporting broadcasting operations. This senior role will oversee technical infrastructure, innovation, reliability, and technology teams while ensuring high-quality broadcasting performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead broadcasting technology strategy.
- Oversee broadcast infrastructure, systems, and technical operations.
- Lead technology projects and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and operational continuity.
- Evaluate emerging broadcasting technologies.
- Manage technical teams, budgets, and external vendors.
- Establish technical standards and operational procedures.
- Advise senior leadership on technology investments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Broadcasting Technology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in broadcast technology or technical leadership.
- Strong knowledge of broadcast systems and digital infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and project-management skills.
- Strong strategic and problem-solving abilities.
