Are you a highly organised administrator with a talent for multitasking and delivering exceptional customer service? The Wiltshire Pension Fund is looking for an Operations and Business Support Assistant to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our service. Working closely with the Operations Team and the Head of Wiltshire Pension Fund, you will provide vital business and administrative support, helping to ensure efficient day-to-day operations across a busy and dynamic environment.
The Wiltshire Pension Fund is one of the largest local authority pension funds in the region, responsible for administering pension benefits for members across more than 180 employer organisations, including local authorities, schools, colleges, charities and service providers. Managing assets of around £3 billion against pension liabilities of £2.7 billion, the Fund delivers secure pension benefits to thousands of members while supporting employers and ensuring strong governance, efficient administration and long-term financial sustainability.
In this varied role, you will manage shared inboxes, handle customer enquiries, support system administration, monitor and update pension-related data, coordinate software testing and maintain important employer records. You will also assist with reporting activities, data quality initiatives and projects that help safeguard the accuracy and integrity of pension fund information. Alongside this, you will provide business support through diary management, meeting coordination and administrative assistance to managers across the Fund.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience of working in an administrative or business support role, confidence using IT systems and a proactive approach to problem solving will help you succeed. In return, you will join a supportive team where your contribution will make a real difference to the service we provide to members, employers and stakeholders. Apply today and become an important part of a team dedicated to delivering an outstanding pension service across Wiltshire.
