We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Shop/Bar Manager to oversee daily operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of café and bar staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Manage the bar area, including barista services, drink mixing, and stock control
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance appraisals
- Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Implement health and safety procedures across the premises
- Assist in developing menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
- Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in shopping centre hospitality management, preferably within a café or bar setting
- Strong supervisory experience with team management skills
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel environments is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering teamwork
- Good understanding of hospitality industry regulations and standards
- Previous experience as a barista or in serving roles is advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills

Pay: £32,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
