We are seeking a self-motivated individual to take up our Finance Administrative Officer post. You will join the administrative team in the Radcliffe Department of Medicine, Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (RDM OCDEM).
The post is available immediately on a permanent basis. It is offered at Grade 5. We may also appoint at Grade 4 as an underfill. This post is suited to someone with finance or financial administration experience. You may be looking to consolidate your skills or broaden your experience in a busy academic and research environment.
You will support the smooth running of financial administration in OCDEM. A key part of the role is ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately, promptly and in line with University procedures. This includes purchasing, supplier invoices, expenses, credit cards, income, financial housekeeping and month-end activity. You will act as a key point of contact for finance queries. You will work with departmental colleagues, suppliers and central University finance teams. You will help maintain accurate records, support compliance with University financial procedures and contribute to improvements in local finance processes.
The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Part-time working at a minimum of 80% FTE will be considered. Hybrid working is available, with the expectation that you will work on site at OCDEM for at least two days each week. Although you will be based in OCDEM, you will be working closely with Cardiovascular Medicine (CV Med). This role will help strengthen collaboration between departments
