We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise and motivate team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment.
- Coordinate food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Support in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and customer service to optimise guest satisfaction.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items.
- Assist with training new staff members in hospitality standards, food safety protocols, and service procedures.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Extensive restaurant experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and hospitality services.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary background is highly desirable.
- Experience working in hotel environments or barista roles will be considered advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Pay: £30,500.00-£32,500.00 per year
