Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team part time working between 4pm and 6pm 5 days per week, starting from September 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning services, ensuring that specific areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our pupils and staff.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise toilets and other communal areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and surfaces to ensure a tidy appearance.
- Dispose of waste and recycling.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Skills
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively during shifts.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations.
