We are seeking a dedicated and efficient warehouse worker to join our dynamic team in the finishing room. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and manufacturing process. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting and materials handling tasks effectively. You would be working in the finishing room, predominantly oiling of wood products and packing ready for shipment to our customers.
Full training will be given for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assisting on finishing line, oiling of wood products.
- Perform picking and packing of products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in goods and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. (experience preferred but not essential)
- Maintain stock levels by organising inventory and assisting with stock replenishment.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring that all products are stored correctly to avoid damage.
- Build pallets for shipping and assist in loading and unloading goods from lorries.
- A team player with a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
