Duties
- Safely operate and deliver company vehicles including both cars and commercials vehicles up to 3.5 tonne around our yards and to our customers’ sites with precision and care
- Conduct vehicle handovers and collections on site with customers, utilising our digital vehicle inspection damage app.
- Conduct thorough valeting of vehicles, including cleaning interiors and exteriors to meet high standards of presentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles by performing janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, washing, and detailing
- Provide friendly, professional customer service by assisting clients during vehicle drop-offs and pickups
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure secure transportation at all times
- Keep detailed records of vehicle movements, cleaning schedules, and any maintenance performed
Experience
- Full UK driving license held for at least 5 years with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits. (D or D1 category on driving licence preferred)
- Previous janitorial or vehicle detailing experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
