Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Advisor to join our existing team in a fast paced transport office. The successful candidate will be will be the first point of contact for customers, drivers, and internal departments, ensuring the smooth coordination of transport operations. You will provide professional and efficient customer service while supporting the planning and execution of daily deliveries and collections.
Duties
Key responsibilities include responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email, providing updates on deliveries, resolving customer issues and maintaining accurate records. You will liaise closely with colleagues, drivers, and customers to ensure KPI targets are achieved and maintained .
Skills
- Experience of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and knowledge of CRM systems.
- Experience working in a customer service led & administrative role advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to organise, administer, plan and prioritise effectively
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to resolving customer concerns.
- Organised mindset with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
