Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional service throughout their dining experience. You will assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe environment while promoting menu items through effective upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant guidelines.
- Serve food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist in the training of new staff members as required.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills.
- Promote daily specials and upsell menu items to increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; a passion for hospitality is key.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles would be advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic culinary skills are beneficial for assisting with food preparation tasks.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests alike.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
