Burrows and Smith is a leading tier one component supplier, specialising in the focussed machining process of cast iron turbine housings and brackets.
We are currently recruiting for a nightshift Pre Delivery Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and preparation of products prior to customer delivery. The role ensures that all items are fully functional, free from defects, properly documented, and presented according to company standards.
The role is a full time position on the nightshift and is a permanent position subject to passing a probationary period.
Induction and training on machining, quality and health and safety will be given on the dayshift.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as required.
- Ability to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
